Chicken Tinola Recipe


Chicken Tinola (Tinolang Manok)
           
 Chicken Tinola is also known Tinolang Manok is a popular filipino soup dish that is refreshing soup, very delicious and easy to make. The usaul main ingredients of chicken tinola are chicken, ginger, onion, papaya and malunggay leaves to make the soup more healthier.

Here is the recipe:
1 whole chicken, cut into serving pieces
6-8 glasses of water
Small green papaya, cut into wedges
Malunggay leaves
1 tbsp garlic, minced
1 onion, chopped
1 ginger, cut into strip
2 tbsp fish sauce
1 magic sarap/ knorr cubes
Salt and pepper to taste

                                                                    1. Sauté the garlic, onion and ginger.
                                                                    2. Add the chicken until the color turns to light brown.
                                                                    3. Put the fish sauce and mix well.
                                                                    4. Then add water. Simmer for 30 mins
                                                                    5. Add papaya (alternative of sayote) then simmer for 5-8 mins
                                                                    6. Add magic sarap/ knorr cubes
                                                                    7. Add salt and pepper to taste.
                                                                    8. Then serve it with rice
